How our new Mark 2 DPF cleaning machines redefine performance and value

Ask any garage owner what makes a great bit of kit and you will get the same answer: it has to work hard, last for years and pay for itself fast. That has always been our approach to DPF cleaning equipment. The original Met Clean range has been earning its keep in workshops across the UK for a while, but we were never going to stop there. Now the next chapter has arrived – the new Mark 2 E, S and XL machines. They are tougher, smarter and more efficient, yet cost exactly the same as before.

At the heart of these upgrades is a simple idea: professional-grade DPF cleaning equipment should not come with a premium price tag. Workshops need machines that can remove soot, ash and other contaminants from a diesel particulate filter quickly, thoroughly and with minimal downtime, without draining the budget. That is exactly what the Mark 2 range delivers.

Engineering improvements you can see and feel

Every model is now made from 304 medical-grade stainless steel and built to a height of 210 cm for easier transportation and installation. The E model gains an additional sediment bag filter housed in a stainless steel canister, giving the cleaning process extra protection for the substrate and diesel oxidation catalyst. The S and XL models now feature a super-silent chromoly wash pump, reducing workshop noise while maintaining serious cleaning power.

A VFD water speed controller comes as standard, allowing precise adjustment for different applications, from radiators and intercoolers to EGRs, GPFs and catalytic converters. For those working with high-volume DPF cleaning, the XL introduces a re-engineered HGV ramp, improved body design and a sleek new touchscreen control panel.

Performance without compromise

The Mark 2 XL remains the most advanced DPF cleaner on the market. With full digital automation, WiFi connectivity for remote diagnostics and a pneumatic door system, it combines usability with performance. The cleaning cycle averages around 70 minutes, meaning quick turnaround times and minimal downtime for customers. Micro cavitation technology works at high temperatures to dislodge every trace of soot and ash, restoring back-pressure levels and helping regeneration happen as intended.

The E and S models follow the same philosophy, offering exceptional efficiency and adaptability. They can clean a wide variety of particulate filter sizes and types, with adjustable cycles, rapid tank heat-up and internal drying systems that reduce the time between cleaning and reinstallation. For garages that cover thousands of miles’ worth of diesel maintenance each year, those time savings add up.

Value that changes the game

Despite these upgrades, prices remain unchanged: the E starts at £8,995 plus VAT, the S at £15,995 and the XL at £24,995. In a market where comparable DPF cleaning equipment can cost twice as much, this makes the Mark 2 range an easy decision for many workshops.

The aim is clear: give diesel specialists and general garages alike a tool that will keep particulate filters cleaner for longer, cut down on repeated cleans and offer a return on investment in months rather than years. By combining advanced cleaning technology with durable construction and real-world usability, the Mark 2 range sets a new benchmark for both performance and value.

The UK’s most trusted DPF cleaners have just raised the bar again, and the competition will have to work hard to catch up.
