Software

ISTA is the diagnostic application for vehicles of the BMW Group. The application is made available for independent operators via the AOS Portal. The client is installed locally on the computer. Diagnosis and programming data is downloaded online as needed. This requires a permanent online connection

Hardware

The ICOM is the specific communication device (VCI, Vehicle Communication Interface), which represents the diagnostic interface to vehicles of the BMW Group. It is connected to the vehicle and can then be
connected via the ISTA connection manager. ISTA can communicate with vehicles of the BMW Group, for instance for automatic vehicle identification or carrying out test sequences.  laptop wise, we supply you with a fully REFURBISHED Lenovo ThinkPad T450 with a 1 year back to base warranty.  You can opt to upgrade this to a brand new tough book also.  However we believe supplying a refurbished laptop gives great value for money in the current climate.

The Process

Unlike other providers we will see you through from the initial order to the using of your new kit.  This will include going through the application for your new BMW AOS account. Initial ISTA Programming and key features will be pre installed ready to go.  With the correct information supplied by you, we will, on your behalf, fill out all the relevant documentation to get you registered.  We will then issue you with your Log On information.  This is ALL included in the price.  On top of that we will “hold your hand” for the first month of usage as you are getting to grips with it.  Standard (non tech) machine support will run for 1 year from purchase running along side the hardware warranty. Everything supplied is  GENUINE equipment.

If for any reason your account with BMW is turned down, you will be required to follow any steps required to complete any requirements as set out by BMW. No refund will be given in this instance.  General Application to BMW takes around 1 week however your equipment can be supplied to you within 3 days. The above does NOT include full security accreditation and can be discussed as an option due to a lengthy process.

Technical Support

Our optional Technical support stems from our years of combined dealer level and general technical knowledge.  The technical support option includes remote control of your computer system, Phone support, Email support and Digital message support system.  This is a limited service to 1hr slots of which you are allocated 10 slots per annum.  The payment is a one off payment and you will be allocated a technical reference number to be given to the operator.

BMW key reader 2

BWM Key Reader for identifying and reading data. It’s a user-friendly tool. Simply place the key on the Key Reader, and the device will begin to read the data. The Key Reader operates through the BMW AOS web portal. To write the service history to a vehicle, a subscription will be required. The KaSIO application (Key and Service history for Independent Operators) has several functions, as stated below.

• Reading and presenting key data
• Providing Service History based on key data
• Printing the proof of maintenance
• Writing the Service History after manually inputting the vehicle identification number
• Gives you instant visual vehicle information e.g. adblue level, fuel level etc.
